• The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) is located at 301 Campbell Street; 250.725.3321. The Coastal Credit Union is located at 368 Main Street #311; 250.725.2366.

• Prior to arranging a beach fire, please check with the Concierge or Guest Reception on any fire ban, restrictions and requirements that might be imposed by the District of Tofino. Fires within the boundaries of the National Park are prohibited year-round.

• The BC Liquor Store is located at 328 Neill Street and the Cold Beer & Wine Store is located at 120 First Street at the Maq Hotel. Tofino Brewing Company is located at 691 Industrial Way and Tofino Distillery at 681-G Industrial Way, both are open for sales and onsite tastings.

• Vehicle towing and repair can be arranged through Long Beach Auto Repair on Industrial Way; 250.725.2030, as well as the Petro-Canada Station in Ucluelet at 2040 Peninsula Road; 250.726.2001. If we can help, please contact the Concierge or Guest Reception.

• St. Columba Church (Anglican/United) is located at the corner of Second Avenue and Main Street; 250.725.7318.

• The Tofino Co-Op Grocery Store is located at 140 First Street. Gaia Grocery Store is located at 150 4th Street. Some dry goods and produce are available at Beaches Grocery located at 1184 Pacific Rim Highway. For limited after hours shopping visit L.A. Grocery located at 131 First Street.

• The Coastal Rides app makes it easy to book a ride in Tofino. Download it in the App Store or Google Play, enter the location you want to go and wait for your ride. Prices vary depending on driver and destination.

• Tofino Taxi Services are available for transfers in the Tofino and Ucluelet area. Their telephone number is 250.725.3333. As the only taxi in town, please be aware that wait times are likely and the taxi does not run late into the evening.

• Please contact Guest Reception or the Concierge if you are interested in taking a guided tour. Some suggestions would be: bear watching (Mid-April through October), fishing, hot Springs cove, nature walks, scenic tours (by flight or boat), sea kayaking, surfing or whale watching (March to October).

• Wildlife abounds in the area and needs to be treated with respect. Please keep your distance and don’t ever approach or feed a wild animal.

• Part of Tofino’s charm rests in its pristine beaches, Pacific Rim National Park, and the many provincial parks throughout Clayoquot Sound and our UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. As you enjoy these areas, please keep in mind the naturalist’s code: Take only pictures and leave only footprints.
